Arcane Interns

In the aftermath of a limited apocalypse, Earth's major cities have been rebuilt by corporations that offer survival in exchange for submission. Chief among them is Valkyrie Industries, the creators of Pantheon, a digital simulation promising escape from the dark, luxury, perfection— but at a steep cost. Most of the population now lives addicted to the simulation, trading autonomy for comfort, while the real world decays behind their closed eyes.

You play as Kasey, a skilled Net Runner with a buried past. When her mother, who was once a publicist for Valkyrie, is found dead in an alleyway, Kasey follows a trail of memory logs and corrupted files into Pantheon. With help from Zee, a radical hacker who's been quietly infecting the simulation with her own scripted viruses, Kasey dives into five collapsing sectors of Pantheon to sever its control systems and expose the truth.

Each sector is a different illusion: pristine utopian cities, ruined temples, neon battlefields— digitized fantasies gone rotten. But the deeper that Kasey goes, the more fragmented the simulation becomes, and the harder it is to tell what's real, what's planned, and what's really part of her past.

This demo showcases the first world of KillCode as an early proof of concept. While it represents the tone, core gameplay, and direction of the full experience, much of the story content described in the game's overview—including characters, later worlds, and key narrative events—is not yet implemented. This demo is a glimpse into the larger vision, and your feedback will help shape its future.

We like robots

Fight against Pantheon's cybersecurity force, like the small but mighty Servitoid, or the hulking Grid Warden, shield, cannons, and all. Visually inspired by western and eastern mecha, every threat was deliberately designed to read like a clear and recognizable threat, and punch like one too.
